Setting project specific settings in Eclipse

In Eclipse you can use 2 type of workspace settings.
One is general settings, you can change them by visiting Window->Preferences:

general

But sometimes you need to specify some project’s settings. For this you can use project specific settings. Right mouse click on the project->Properties:

project_settings

Search where you can check Enable project specific settings check box. This check box allows to specify project’s settings.

I will not describe here what type of settings you can change, because they depends from your plugins set, but you should know that there is possibility to use them in your workspace. You can use different workspaces for situation when you need different settings, but mostly I use with Eclipse company’s settings and sometimes I change settings for my own projects and I use project specific settings instead of using other workspaces.
Personally I like when all related projects are in one workspace.
